Potential Use of Eggshell as Bone Graft Compared with Bovine for Bone Defect: A Systematic Review Study

Background :
 The use of Bone Graft in the management Defect is a challenge world orthopedics. Recently, eggshell containing hydroxyapatite has become new hope an economical and efficient bone graft treatment defects. aim this systematic review was to explore available literature on clinical performance eggshells as grafts guided regeneration.
 Method Two databases (PubMed Cochrane) were searched from January 2010 September 2020. Clinical trials using included review. Animal vivo studies excluded review.
 Results A total 202 taken, then screened 15 finally included. radiological evaluations show complete recovery after procedure. Comparison with synthetic shows similar healing characteristics.
 Conclusion Eggshell compared bovine showed no difference healing. Within limitations studies, can be used safely efficiently integrated regeneration procedures.
